IDanny: Amman Jordan
t's breakfast time in Amman Jordan and we finally got to our hotel, where we crashed after a 24 hr travel day. We were met by Karin and her great assistants. We had a briefing in the van about our schedule and the city.
It's such a wonderful city and everyone we've met so far has been so gracious and helpful. At night, it's not uncommon for people to pull over on the side of the road and have picnics, where ever they can. In Sophia, where we are staying, families stroll outside, late into the evening, shopping, going to cafes etc. It's a very safe city and we can walk around the area and feel completely comfortable.
This morning I had a wonderful breakfast of eggs, hummus, figs, apricots, pistachio, tea and assorted pastries. Actually, as I write this, I'm on my third breakfast since I awoke;)
We are traveling to the Dead Sea today and will be sharing some pix and stories about that soon
